Summary:

School Library Journal - 02/16/2024 PreS-K—BubbleCat, a blue cartoonish cat, will go to great lengths to prove his friendship. Charmatz, as usual, works with a combination of drawn and photographic elements to create charming and dynamic scenes of the fearlessly loyal feline, heroically saving the balloon of his friend, Molly Mouse. Younger children will love the reversed trope of cat and mouse as friends. The art introduces older onlookers to a new style that will have them itching to try collage storytelling. VERDICT Energetic and very appealing, BubbleCat is quite a hero.
