School Library Journal - 01/26/2024 Toddler-PreS—BubbleCat learns a lesson in patience. Illustrations of a cartoon-created blue cat are combined with photographs to place our hero in an empty garden. BubbleCat is excited to grow "every flower you can think of!" He becomes increasingly disillusioned as multiple attempts to encourage growth do not seem to pay off in any way. Eventually, with the encouragement of his friends, the flowers bloom and a lesson is learned.
